Establishes statewide waste reduction and organic waste diversion goals
and requires counties to integrate benchmarks into their waste plans

HB1264 Waste Management (EPR)

Creates an Extended Producer Responsibility framework for packaging and paper, shifting costs from counties to producers

HB1948 Single-Use Plastics

Prohibits small single-use plastic toiletry containers in lodging, reducing tourism-related waste

SB676 Organic Waste

Advances organic waste diversion benchmarks and planning requirements at the county level

SB2101 Organic Waste

Updates statewide organic waste reduction strategies and diversion planning

HB1621 Organic Waste / Agriculture

Expands the Carbon Smart Land Management program to support composting, biochar, and regenerative practices for small farmers
